Instagram Updates

I haven't been able to update per usual lately. Work and family life has been keeping me rather busy. Here's some images that I've posted to my instagram that should at least show what I've been working on lately.

An old Forgeworld kit that I've started work on.

Grey Knights - Inquisitor Karamazov, Part I

So, I picked up this guy from the GW store for this month's painting competition. It's a big Finecast kit, and I had to go back to the store later to basically replace every sprue frame. After a lot of filing, green stuff, putty, pinning and drilling, I got him together. I also just found out recently that my Tau Piranha won the competition from the previous month. I need to go down there later this week and take that guy home.

After priming, and airbrushing base colors and lighting on, I've been able to find enough time to get him to this point. I figure he's about 50% done (only a little more than base colors and some washes.

The Backlog

So, I took a set of photos a while back to help me get a general idea of what I have in my cabinets, and what I should really start working on.

A bunch of Grey Knights in a foam tray (too short) as well as the compressor.

Grey Knight Rhino #1

I didn't get much time to put in on this today. Painted some more red on the side panels, black on the bolter and detail bits. I at least had enough time to layout the top hatch design and get a first coat of red and white in. My little boy just woke up now, so it's time to put everything away for now.
